I can’t thank the team from Sensible Funerals enough for the fantastic job they did with my partner Shane.  He looked so handsome and just like himself.  Every step of the way Shanti and Tim were very respectful and made sure everything was how I requested. They did not try to oversell me on extras and I knew from the beginning how much it was going to cost.  They made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and Shane would have loved his ride on the Harley Hearse and turning heads as he went past. 

Thank you so much for everything – you guys were amazing and made a really difficult task so easy to handle. I know Mum would have hated all the fanfare but I know she would be so pleased with the role you guys played and especially the support given to our family.

I would highly recommend the family-owned and run Sensible Funerals. Shanti and Tim were very personal and professional to deal with. Every detail was taken care of meticulously and my mum had her perfect send off. A nicer couple you will not meet, who are in the business because they genuinely care.

Sensible Funerals have done an amazing job with my brother’s funeral at the age of 29 years young. He was riding his Harley Davidson when he was killed! (not his fault). So as a reminder of what Dwayne loved and had a passion for – riding his bike – we sent Dwayne off with Tim.

Tim gave Dwayne a beautiful thing – Dwayne’s final ride! It was such a beautiful way of sending someone off – so sad but with such style and my brother would have loved everything Tim and Shanti have done for us!

Shanti spoke for us at the funeral and she did an amazing job – such beautiful words!

I highly recommend these amazing humans – as my brother would say – they are only here to help and do what’s best for you!

You will not be disappointed on the amazing job these guys will do for you!

Just want to say thank you again for all your assistance in making our mothers service go smoothly and especially the preparation before.

Everyone has said that it was a beautiful service with some saying it is the best they had been to!
You have been extremely kind and patient during our mourning and this has been mentioned to many others.
The afternoon was excellent at the Lockleys Hotel who supplied very nice food and I had ordered plenty for everyone, so they were happy 🙂

We wanted the funeral before the weekend so interstate relatives could get back home and Sensible Funerals were able to help. All the decisions were made stress free and we walked away feeling relieved that it was made so easy. We had the service at Enfield Memorial Park and from beginning to the end Rod Conlon made my mum’s funeral a lovely celebration. My mother also looked very lovely so a big thanks for that.

Mum mentioned how happy she was that the Service unfolded the way that it did. She was happy with how dad looked, she said he looked himself. The whole process was made simple and we all appreciated that.

You made the whole process really stress-free for us. Friday was far from stress-free for you with the other service running so late; your calm manner was much appreciated.

At the time of grief of losing a loved one, we all need time, comfort, compassion and understanding. We were all impressed with Shanti and Tim and the entire staff at SENSIBLE FUNERALS. We received all of the above plus more from these beautiful people, nothing was too much trouble.
 
We as a family were able to do whatever we needed to do to send our loved one off in a way we imagined he would have wanted to go. Even though he was only a young man, being able to do this with the full support of Shanti and Tim, it helped us deal with the trauma of losing our little brother and son.
 
What a way to send him off to his final resting place, ON A HARLEY. Yes we had the fortune of Tim to taking Mark for a final ride on the Harley Hearse, WOW !!!!!!!!!!

Four hours after Mum was deceased, my introduction to Sensible Funerals was Christine’s helpful and informative manner. Christine shared details and unhurriedly answered my questions and concerns along with explaining and quoting all the prices involved.
 
Your receptionist, Sharon, is “tailor made” for her working role, an excellent asset to your organisation. I have nothing but accolades for her ability in working and walking with me through this maze of death and funerals. Sharon possesses a particular quality that stands out, called “fellow feeling”. She has the ability to walk in another’s shoes, not just feel, at a superficial level.
 
Your mortuary staff gained my respectful appreciation for their attention to the care and protection of my mother at this final time. They, by doing their part, helped me fulfil my mother’s final requirements.
 
Shanti, your kind gestures and attention to detail deeply touched me. So often in life it’s the small things that mean the most.

I wanted to say a big THANK YOU for looking after us all last Friday and during the preceding week or so, in regard to the funeral service for my  brother Harry.  Everything went well from our perspective and we were all treated with respect and kindness in your very professional manner.  You especially, were the perfect person to guide us through the process.  On the day of the funeral, you were brilliant – thank you.
